Study On Aestheic Expressiveness & Tectonic Capacity Of Clay Kiln Bricks

Clay kiln bricks are one of the most potential materials that have long history in architecture. As for many problems of bricks uses in the domestic architectural material markets, the thesis has been studied on the applications in architectural design of clay kiln bricks, which are the original style of bricks. Further more, many practical and technical knowledge of clay kiln bricks has been discussed in the article in the hope of that we could have a comprehensive and clear understanding of the potentiality of bricks and the clay soil materials in architectural design and applications.The closed relationship between the material's production and design, and its use and technology has been regarded as the article's dominant idea. Firstly ,the author introduces the property of clay kiln bricks, which has closed relationship whit architectural design. Moreover the author, using many pictures and words and taking the showing power of brick architecture and basic constructional technology as the interpretive focal point, classifies and explains the use of bricks in every architectural essential factor (including walls, floors, roofs and holes). At last the author puts forward some tentative plans and prospects about the prospect of using clay soil material in architecture in the future.
