Industrial furnace is an important energy-consuming device in industrial production. It consumes a large amount of energy each year, mainly using electric heating. However the concentrated load have caused adverse effects on electric power demand of local production and life, and power consumption costs began to restrict the economic benefits of the project.Gas furnaces have many advantages in a variety of industrial furnace, and the rich resource of natural gas can help the development of natural gas energy in China, and changing the single energy structure in heat treatment equipment, improving energy efficiency, creating conditions of the comprehensive utilization of energy. It can speed up renovation of electronics industry by rational application of high-tech gas technology .The objective is to improve the quality and output of products, energy saving, reducing production costs, reducing the emission of pollutants and so on.The paper mainly studies the drying characteristics of gas-fired radiant drying kiln. The quartz radiant tube is applied firstly as the radiation energy during the entire experiment in this article. The radiant tube is characterized by higher radiation coefficient and higher heat radiation efficiency. And it helps to improve the thermal efficiency of the drying kiln. The infrared gas burner supporting the use of drying kilns is made specially in order to maximize the heat application.This topic regards clay bricks as drying object. The internal temperature of the workpiece, and the ambient temperature, the temperature distribution in different sections of the internal of bricks and the horizontal and vertical section of the drying kiln are studied. The author transformed the gas radiation drying kiln into the electricity radiation drying kiln. The experimental data are compared with the convective drying data of the refractory plant in Luoyang. The advantages of the gas radiation kiln are proved by the comparison. |
