The minitype electromagnetic relay is one kind of controlling low-voltage electric appliances. The electromagnetic relay is also a kind of electromechanical product. It has its superiority over other controlling appliances because of its highly insulation with open circuit and its absolutely little resistance with closed circuit. So the electromagnetic relay is widely used in the industry and many kinds of controlling systems and it has remarkable effect on the controlling systems' reliability. It is an important approach of improving the system's reliability to improve the electromagnetic relay's reliability. The reliability test device is a necessary component to study the reliability of relays. It can check the contacts of the relay and examine the reliability of the relay, so that the reliability of the relay can be improved constantly.The main function of the reliability test device of minitype electromagnetic relay is to check whether both the contact voltage of the contacts' drop and the open circuit voltage of the contacts' exceed the threshold value or not. It can deal with the fault samples and record the test data automatically. The device can run automatically except that the test parameters need to be set. It mainly consists of the controlling-cabinet and loading-cabinet etc. The controlling-cabinet mainly consists of an industrial control computer, expansion cards of checking contacts, an I/O expansion card (the 720 card) etc. The loading-cabinet mainly consists of four loading-circuits. Every loading-circuit's structure is like a drawer's and It is a independent circuit which can check 16 pairs contacts at the same time. It is convenient to install, debug and repair this independent circuit.The software of this device mainly includes the subprogram of operation interface, the subprogram of checking, the subprogram of dealing with the data of test and the subprogram of service. This software is programmed with C language. The C language has the advantages of high-level language and the assembly language, so the program is flexible and real-time. The operation interface uses the structure of the pull-down menu and pop-up window. The operation can be completed through mouse or keyboard. So the interface is perspicuous and the operation is convenient. This design style well represents the amicability of the software.
