With the development of the power system towards super high voltage, vast capacity and automation, the maintenance of equipments becomes more and more complicated and costs much more. So it's the purpose of all power enterprises to improve the efficiency of the maintenance of equipments, reduce the costs and increase the safety and reliability of equipments.This paper discusses the application of RCM and immune algorithm in the condition based maintenance of electric equipments and take into account of the state maintenance strategy. It deals with the information arrangement of equipment state variables and the classification of the equipment capability index. By making use of the immune algorithm, together with the expert system, fuzzy mathematics, a diagnosis analysis of electric equipments can be carried out. With the analysis of the importance of electric equipments in the power network, the RCM strategy model is established. The importance index of equipments and equipment state index can be combined and applied into practice of the strategy of electric equipments maintenance management. At the same time, the analysis system of electric equipments state maintenance is developed and there is a good result in its application.
