Equipment monitoring and diagnosis is a integrative subject. In recent years, With the insistent need for high safty, stability and longevity of the equipment in the modern industry field, traditional methods of monitoring and diagnosis are more and more incommensurate. The modern monitoring and diagnosis which based on sensor, signal analysis and intelligent diagnosis technology acquired fast development, especially the using of Remote network, Expert system , Artificial Nearal Networks in the diagnosis are making the monitoring and diagnosis process more and more conveniency, high efficient and accurate. This Remote online monitoring and intelligent diagnosis is becoming the development trend of monitoring and diagnosis now and later ,Now, the study on these field are getting more and more warmer, which already had gain much achievements, we can see the future of Equipment monitoring and diagnosis is in the ascendant.By plenty of studying and based on the monitoring and diagnosis practice of WISCO large Ball Bearing, this paper puts forward a distributed remote monitoring and diagnosis scheme based on network configuration, and deeply studied the key technology, system framework and function implement of each parts relating to remote monitoring and diagnosis. The main study work of this paper is as followed:1 . Introduced the actuality and development trend of equipment state monitoring and diagnosis, expounded the implement pattern, system framework of remote monitoring and also discussed the related technology such as OPC, DDE, ActiveX in monitoring system2. By analyzed the function needs of this system, putted forward the main structuce of the remote monitoring and diagnosis, and described all parts of the system, then designed the ideas of remote monitoring by using Configuration software and ActiveX technology in the Web practice3. Studied the signal processing technology in the process of failure diagnosis such as Spectrum analysis ,Wavelet analysis, and the characteristic in the vibration signal analysis of them , then designed the arithmetic program by analyzing theoretics of them4. Analyzed the failure mode , mechanism, diagnosis methods by taking example for the Ball Bearing diagnosis , presented the diagnosis and analysis real example based on vibration signal analysis.5. Analyzed the composing and implement mechanism of expert system, putted forward the pattern of expert diagnosis based on failure premonition by above analyzing, and studied some key problem in the design of this expert system ,then designed this part with the project.Based on the summaries and conclusions of all research work, some suggestions and prospect for further researches was put forward in the end.
