Since the nation was founded, a large number of water conservancy engineerings have been built in our country. With the time going on, the concrete dams have grown and have exceeded their usage life-spans. At the moment, it has formed steady seepage field in the inner part of these dams. It is a new subject to control the situation, and calculate the seepage body force for stability. By summarizing the former achievement, the author has researched into the theory of steady seepage and seepage body force in order to solve the problems happened in water conservancy engineerings. The main object in the passage is the Fengman concrete gravity dam. Aiming at its aging phenomenon and the seepage problems after rebuilding construction, the passage established its structure. During the analysis, general software as FEM, ANSYS, which has its own development tool- APDL, is used to model the program named seepage-sdz. The main function of the program is to analyse the seepage field and seepage body force by 3D finite element method. The program has different sub-modules to solve different affecting factors on seepage analysis. In the calculation of seepage field, the effect of the parameter of concrete, drainage hole and grout curtains...etc are considered. By charts and figures, the passage gave the result of the calculation that described the varying regulation of seepage field, seepage body force, and other physical factors. In addition, based on the seepage character of concrete dam, the passage used adaptive network in FEM to solve the problem of building modal on Fengman dam successfully. The results are not only used in the construction of Fengman, but also used to any other dams that have problems of seepage.
