The roller compacted concrete gravity dams are constructed by thin layer and there are time interval between the layers, which made the characteristics of seepage be very different from conventional concrete dams. The seepage problem of roller compacted concrete gravity dam is not only a research hotspot but also also necessary to establish reasonable seepage control measures for the design of RCC gravity dam. This thesis take one specific RCC gravity dam of a reservoir as the example.First of all, establishing finite element of Three-dimensional Model including typical non-overflow section and overflow sections by the ANSYS software, after that using ANSYS software calculate seepage when the RCC gravity dam is in the working condition of normal warer level and maximum flood level in order to get some general conclusions, finally, Guiding the design and construction of the RCC gravity dam by the result of seepage analysis. The main research work of this thesis is as follows.(1)Using ANSYS to establish finite element of Three-dimensional Model whitch take advantage of typical non-overflow section and overflow sections of the RCC gravity dam.(2) Programming calculation program which calculate typical non-overflow section and overflow sections of the RCC gravity dam by means of ANSYS Parametric Design Language.(3) Exploring the seepage characteristics and seepage law of RCC gravity dam when the typical non-overflow section and the overflow sections of RCC gravity dam is in the working condition of normal warer level and maximum flood level. The result of seepage analysis is served for the design and construction of the actual project which have the Practical significance of engineering guidance.
