The Study Of Geographic Information System In Traffic Planning

Geographic Information System(GIS)is the combination to deposit and process the Information relating to the distribution of geography spaces．During the process of Traffic Planning,with the help of GIS on the computer ,we can found,compile,manifest and manage the urban transportation information,and analysis the linear geographical net in a Space way ,and provide the information to the user in a direct clear-cut, and all-inclusive way.This paper mainly Includes the following content:The way to build the data base for traffic planning in the condition or GIS．Dividing traffic zone optimally．Processing traffic network and implementing GIS In program design and comprehensive evaluation.According to the principle of GIS, we build spatial data base for traffic planning, property data base,and construct the connections between property database and spatial database; then provide the way to divide traffic zone optimally based on GIS,according to the topology relationship among traffic origination and to the Correlation coefficient and Euclidean distance;next,combine the traffic network graphs and data,achieve the transfer between the graphs and data,and advance the technique for traffic network processing based on GIS in the end,take advantage of the technique above to fulfill the program design and the comprehensive evaluation on the graphs.
