It was proved that priority of developing public transportation was the best way to solve city traffic problem by analyzing the efforts from citifying. According to the analysis of public transportation problems, illuminated application of advanced technology in public transportation was a guarantee that made it developed well. The user and user services of Public Transportation Information System(PTIS) were ensured and Requirement Model & Architecture Model of PTIS were built by adopting Structured Model. According to functions and data model of GIS technology, analyzed feasibility and superiority of application of GIS to PTIS. Exerting GIS data structure principle and relation data-base theory, built spacial data-base and property data-base respectively. Uniting the space analysis function of GIS technology completely, studied PTIS applications methods in public transportation planning, management and evaluation. |
