Finite Element Method of reinforced concrete, an efficient numerical analysis method, has been adopted more and more widely, and listed in the design code for Hydraulic concrete structure (DL/T 50057-1996) as one of formal analytical methods of non-member concrete structures.Pre-processing and post-processing is the barrier in the application and popularization of FEM. So the study on them is very significant. On the basis of existing program about two dimensional non-linear finite element method of reinforced concrete structure, pre-processing and post-processing programs were developed by the use of AutoCAD embedded VBA language developing tool. They realized the visualization of FEM analysis process and the non-slot integration of FEM and CAD. Based on the blueprint, the user not only can build a FE model quickly and conveniently on visual graphic mode but also can see and export the results according to his own requirement. The technique, which can create the 2D meshing by using the correlative line, was put forward. The element topology information was formed by it. It improved the agility of building the FE model. The program was applied to some real projects, such as water-carrying tunnel of ship lock in Three Gorge Project and reinforcement and rebuild project of Linhuai Harbor. The results validate correctness and reliability of the program and show the advantage in preparing and displaying the data.It is doubtless that the work done in this paper is beneficial to the application of R.C. FEM in the analysis of non-member concrete structures.
