The safety of Wheel Loader, especially the safety of the Cab, is significantly considered for the wheel loader always work in a hard environment. The configuration of the cab, which is the crucial factor of the safety of the operator, should be in a forcible standard.By the increasing development and competition of Wheel Loader, how to sure the safety and coziness of the operator while the all functions of the wheel loader working well, and how to enhance the impact resistance and in the mean time to reduce the total cost of the whole equipment, are all the unavoidable tasks which engineers and designers have to face. In this paper, safety analysis of Wheel Loader Cab is carried out, the main results are as follows:Introducing the development trend of engineering machine in China in the near future. Specifying the configuration of theWheel Loader product and Wheel Loader Cab manufactured by Chengdu Chenggong Construction Machinery CO.LTD.Sichuan. Calculating and analyzing the safety property, including ROPS and FOPS, of the new Wheel Loader Cab by simulating the test condition with relative standard, using the theory of material mechanics and impact load etc., and calculating and analyzing by the Finite Element Method and ANSYS software. Offering essential calculation and collating method for the designing of Wheel Loader Cab. Shortening the period of the design for further extent.
