Although the traditional belt take-up system has some advantages such as simplicity in relation to structure and maturity in relation to usage, yet, because of the difference in the mode of operation and some work characteristics, it has some shortcomings, for example, the low speed of response and the gradual damage to the equipment, remaining unsettled. At the same time ,it is significant to deal with the characteristics of all kinds of traditional take-up systems and exploit a new style belt conveyor take-up system. The belt tension auto-control has been the trend of the belt take-up technology. With the extensive application of hydraulic technology, many successful tests have been taken in the field of belt conveyor take-up system development. Based on the design of the new elementary hydraulic take-up system, the paper probes for the new theories and controller, overcomes the shortcoming of traditional take-up system in theories, prolongs the service life and increases the work efficiency. First of all, the paper analyses the structure and application of the take-up system, expounding its merits and demerits in theory and in practice, finds out the regularities of belt tension distribution by the analyses of tension of belt in the process of belt conveyor running. The secend, it establishes the new hydraulic take-up system relevant mathematical model of dynamic response and make a simulation of the system with the parameters in practice, then gets the system exact controller by analyzing its dynamic characteristics effect on belt conveyor. Followed, the paper proves the controller practicability in practice and ensures the take-up systme can run smoothly by a test. |
