The system is made up of data acquisition, signal processing and output display. Except data acquisition is completed by hardware, the others are all realized by software. The paper describes design and realization of the system from hardware structure and software respectively.The paper describes, the fundamental of virtual instrument is introduced. Virtual instruments, can be added functions as needed, and provide sophisticated tools so users can program complex tasks, and can also analyze data. Compared with bench instruments, virtual instruments have the virtue of high performance price ratio, open system, high intellectualization and friendly interface etc.The paper describes, the characteristics of LabVIEW are summarized, and the design proposal of software is given. Five structures of virtual instrument are listed and compared. PC-DAQ/PCI plug-in structure is used here and the data acquisition board AD7202 is introduced and used.The paper describes, to validate the practicability and advantage of the system, designs of every module in the system are mainly stated, and tests are done.
