The traffic mileage of national highway has exceeded 1,870,000 kilometers by the end of 2004, more than 34,000 kilometers of expressways among them, the highway of class II and above class II is nearly 300,000 kilometers.The quality control of road construction is the key segment of quality control system. In the face of so strenuous road construction task, traditional construction management mode and means can not meet new form demand of quality control obviously. How to collect and analysis the quality control data fast , in time , accurately, and offer every construction process and performance rating result of every point of project in real time, it is a expect important problem to solve to each road construction administrative department, building organization, quality monitoring department.The appearance of the system engineering has offered the scientific theoretical foundation for solving the above problem, and the development of the computer technology has offered the effective means for solving these problems. So it is very important realistic meanings to utilize the existing theory and technological means and develop a set software system that is suitable for our country project quality control in extensive road construction at the present stage. It will make us able to improve the management level of construction greatly, guarantee project quality.According to current criteria for evaluation of quality inspection of highway engineering and technical specification of relevant construction in our country, this text adopted Visual Basic 6. 0 programming language and SQL Server 2000 database technology and developed a road bed road surface construct the performance ratingsystem. This text has introduced relevant theories, course developed of this system, division of system function, calling relation among the module, and function of interface. It is a quite key problem to the system to keep secret and safe. This system adopts according to the authority programming method of the storehouse. Different database users distribute different authorities. It is very effective to the assurance of database security. This system adopted the method of the function module. It reduced systematic complexity, and defined the function of each module. With this way, it can be convenient to add the module and for the expansion of system in the future. Though there are much work to perfect and strengthen expert countermeasure module, it lay better foundation afterwards for develop an intact quality control system.
