This paper is a complete discussion on measurement of threshold of fiber optical gyro(FOG) about the equipment,method,signal process and uncertainty estimation.The output signal of FOG is analyzed first. A modal of the signal is proposed which inducing a conclusion that the trend component of the signal impacts the measurement dominantly.The Multi-Resolution Analysis is applied to reduce the high frequency component of the signal.A method named Chopping Debias is designed to reduce the impaction of the trend component of the signal.Another main impaction to the measurement is the accuracy of North Seeking. The paper discuss a North Seeking method named Orthogonally Sample,which is executed on a horizontal spin table with only one gyro.The uncertainty of the measurement is discussed in detail and verified by much experiments.
