The safety and manage of the operation depend on the operation personnel's and manager's quality in a certain extend, and lack effective the backup sustain of technique, as a result it affect the plant's operation efficiency and economic. At the same time because of the adoption of noting by hand and managing by experience, and lacking the effective manage means in operation information, people can not effective collect and manage the a great deal original information of describing the dynamic course of system. Thus putting it in the passive position of the sides of event handling, fault diagnosis, design amelioration and analyzing on the safe side. On the basics of analyzing the development of the technology of database, bring forward using operation support database in the nuclear power plant to provide necessary data support for the operation of the nuclear power plant.This paper's study is the design part of the operation support database in the nuclear power plant. It has done some work as follows:1. To the specialty of the nuclear power plant, this paper collect abnormity signal character signal of the mostly fault of the every systems of the primary loop systems, and classify the similar fault then contrast them. It is very important to the development of the operation support database system.2. Bring forward using operation support database in the nuclear power plant. Design the concept structure, logic structure, physics structure, function module and the manage interface of program of the operation support database.3. On the basis of the fact of the operation support database, bring forward the feasible arithmetic of fault diagnosis and explore the application of operation support database.This paper introduce the concept and ability of the operation support database system, and design the mostly structure. Then this paper test the feasibility of this database system in application system.
