Laser Ignition is a newly developed ignition technology. In this article, we detailedly research the multi-point laser ignition process with the experiments and numerical simulations. Main research work includes:1. The experiments of base ignition, center-core ignition and multi-point laser ignition are carried out. The flowfield properties in chamber are obtained through the analysis of curves of the experimental data.2. An axisymmetrical mathematical model of 30mm caliber short-barrel artillery ignited by common mode and laser mode is established and the movable boundary conditions are derived by control volume methods. It is numerically calculated with MacCormack scheme.3. Through the numerical simulations we analyze the influence on laser ignition under the different factors.
