In this dissertation the technology of two-stage light gas gun is studied, which is a firing system with higher velocity of projectile by high temperature and low molecular weight medium expanding to force projectile moving. In this thesis, the interior ballistics process of this gun is simulated. v-t,v-l,p-t,p-l curves and other curves are drawn , the influence of different structure parameters and loading conditions on launching performance are analyzed.This dissertation focuses on the numerical simulation of the interior ballistics process of 7. 1mm/39mm. A series of studies have been carried out. These points are as follows: Firstly, work theory, launching process and structure of the two-stage light gas gun are introduced; Secondly ,the one-dimension two-phase flow model of the firing chamber is established, and an appropriate difference scheme for solving this equation is chosen; Then, the aerodynamics model of the light-gas chamber is established, the appropriate difference scheme is chosen ,and the whole interior ballistic process is simulated by coupling the firing chamber ; Lastly, by analyzing the computed results , some influence rules of different structure parameters and loading conditions on launching performance are summarized.
