| With the speedy development of computer network technology and cooperative design and manufacturing technology under Internet, traditional manufacturing is challenged by advanced representative technology, especially automobile manufacturing. So virtual development becomes hot topic in the field of product design research because of its convenience in design and its speediness in response to market demand. Parameterized design is the important means. As advanced design technology of product, parameterized design has been widely applied to manufacturing field and has become the most effective tool of product development in enterprise. This thesis addresses the theory and methods of parameterized virtual bus general design based on UG.A study of parameterized design based on virtual design is presented. The concept, characteristics and meaning of virtual design are introduced briefly, and the status and function of it in manufacturing are revealed. The method of parameterized design is discussed, and the constraint that is the key technology of parameterized design is analyzed in detail. The process of parameterized constraint modeling is discussed deeply. After that the modeling method in UG is concluded. After analyzing the theoretical method of virtual design and parameterized design, The author summarizes the characteristics of bus model, investigates expression method and algorithm of free-form curve and surface, including Bézier, B-pline and NURBS curve and surfaces. The modeling technology and smoothness analysis are revealed for free-form curve and surface. The algorithm of blend is discussed that is the key technology of bus body modeling, Meanwhile the thesis makes preliminary exploration of render technology. the process of constructing bus general parameterized model is investigated. The two design process of modeling methods of bottom-up and top-down are put forward, then parameterized model design is discussed. The character of modeling and the implement factor through WAVE technology are analyzed. According as this theory and key technology, the frame flow of constructing bus general parameterized model is presented based on WAVE technology. With the project "The bus general virtual design based on parameterized design" supported by an communication institute, the author summarizes the realization method in detail, puts it into practice, and provides sound proof for the viewpoints in the thesis. |
