| Today, the energy has been a hot issue in the world. The use of fossil energy would cause the polluted environment and warmed climate on the earth. Solar energy is a kind of renewable clean energy. It is seemed to be the most prospective energy in the 21 century. Currently solar energy is considered to have high potential to be used on buildings. In the applications of solar energy, the technique of solar water heater is the maturest one in China. The productivity of solar water heater in our country has been the largest in the world presently. However, the activity of installation of solar water heater is happened separately all by resident themselves without any integration with buildings. This has brought many problems and blocks the development of industry of solar water heater. At present, the integration for solar water heater with building is more concentrated on the new residence buildings than existed buildings in our country. As the quantity of the existed residence building is very huge, the study about the integrating solar water heater with them is very important. This thesis expounds the great significance of using solar water heaters to supply living hot water for the resident in our country and analyzes the existing problems for the application of solar water heaters on the buildings. Through the analysis of the system of solar water heaters and some examples, some ideas about the integration of solar water heaters with buildings are given. A retrofit design for the existing building with solar water heater is show up in the thesis. Some overseas experience are introduced. It also suggests some strategies for promoting the integration of solar water heaters with buildings. |
