Container valves, selector valves, check valves are the significant parts of carbon dioxide extinguishing system, their structure and function is important for designing and running carbon dioxide extinguishing system. The output of container valves, selector valves, check valves is great among the fire protection products, Therefore, it is very necessary to build a testing device of working reliability for valve of carbon dioxide extinguishing system. It is obviously providing social and economic benefit.Container valves, selector valves, check valves and other pipe valves withstand a 15Mpa working pressure in pipeline of carbon dioxide extinguishing system, the capability of opening momentarily is very important for the three kinds of valves, Reliability of system depends on reliability of valves. with development of new products of gas extinguishing system the working pressure class of system is much higher, so Requiring for testing device is more and more. Researching for testing device of working reliability for valve of carbon dioxide extinguishing system is according to the People's Republic of China's country standard GB/T 16669-1996[1]《General technical specifications for components of carbon dioxide fire extinguishing systems》(constitutes performance requirement and method of test for container valves, selector valves, check valves of carbon dioxide extinguishing system). At the same time,referencing to correlative requirement of GA400[8] about container valves, selector valves, check valves of gas extinguishing system .This device include air compressor,gas storage containers,manifold,control table,valve working reliability device,valve leakage test device,test device of simulating the highest working temperature and the lowest temperature,gas transportation pipe,pressure inspecting and showing device and so on. In the course of development firstly we gathered correlative information and investigated interrelated manufacturer, besides we studied knowledge concerning working reliability, and then we established design project, at last we processed all assemblies and stocked correlative equipments. After installation and debugging of all equipments we carried Validating test. The experiments show that this testing device has reasonable design,minor structure,reliable capability, And the integral technique performance of this device meet testing requirement completely. It is firmly believed that this device is the normative test device for The national Center for quality Supervision and Test performs GB 16669 and GA400 .
