| According to specific requirements of automobile test national standard we have developed a set of automobile road test system, which can carry out most automobile tests. The design of this system contains two parts: hardware design and software design. This system adopts Master-Slaver structure. The master system is a portable book-computer, and the slaver system is made up of three microcontrollers systems.This paper emphatically discusses the design of overall scheme, the major function modular design of slaver system, the USB communication of Master-Slaver system and of machine, data collection software and data handle software of master computer. Based on various test projects the software of master computer is divided, and has an excellent man-machine interface. This system has been checked by preliminary trial test, and test results testify that the system has basically reached design requirements.
