At present, the secrurity of EMS become more and more importment in national stratagem. Focal point of safety protection on EMS is to resist evil intention destroying and attack from virus, hacker, etc. through various kinds of form, especially the group type attacks, to lay special stress on protecting the security of real time monitoring system and dispatcher's data network, thus ensure the security of the national important infrastructure power system.Based on the demand of State power and the fact of south Guiyang power supply bureau, the main contents of this paper are as following:1. The integrated safety protection scheme on EMS in south Guiyang supply bureau is proposed and carried on, the safe assessment is made on computer information network of south Guiyang power supply bureau. The strategies, flows and measures of safety protection in computer information network is proposed.2. The effective strategies in information controlling and visiting of EMS are proposed. Based on the data link layer and network layer, the format of data unit in 101 protocols and the transmission process are analyzed. The control stragety of the information interviewing is corfirmed.3. The safety measures of control and accessing to the core database in EMS are talked.4. According to the actual need, special power gap device for power system security are developed. It realized to isolate on unlawful information.The works above are carried out successfully and the capability for security protection is improved. Thus it can provide timely and correct data to the power system operation. And it benefits the power system operation.The research is leading in China, so it is very useful for reference in power system security protection in the feature.
