Development Of The Plateaus WD615 Series Of Engines

Aiming at the plateau adaptability of the WD615 series high speed diesel engine manufactured the fittings of the diesel engine are optimized ,including matching of superchargers for better performance.The main content and conclusion are shows as follow:The experiments are made at different altitude and the test results show that the diesel power is decreasing and the fuel consumption and exhaust temperature are increasing.The cool was improved, the exhaust and fuel system were redesigned, and the matching of the supercharger was also experimentally completed. The optimizing results show that the 68# exhaust pipe and S3A turbocharger, GJ90B1 turbocharger are the better choice.The experimental results at 2006m altitude show that the diesel parameters matching GJ90B1 turbocharger is better than S3A turbocharger.Comparing the diesel performance matching GJ90B1 supercharger at 2006m and 3800m altitude plain with the diesel performance at plain of the primary diesel engine, the results show that developed plateau engine has good performance.
