The vital factor affecting vibration and noise of bearings is steel balls, the ratio of the influence of noise: outside ring: inside ring: steel balls=l:3:7, the bearing life depends on steel balls near 60%. Many experiments indicate that flocculus steel balls possessing reticulate veins surface tend to elastic fluid kinetic lubricating layer and improves of the lubricating conditions of bearings. The bearings become quite, and have long life. Therefore, in this paper we bring forward a new method to process flocculus steel balls possessing reticulate veins surface.Firstly, in there experiment, the method of Ni-Fe-diamond composite electro-brush plating is used to deal with steel ball millstone. Diamond micro powder (abrasive grain=0.5 u m) is added to the plating liquor, after many experiments, we discover every parameter of composite electro-brush plating, includes voltage of brush plating, relative velocity of between brush plating pen and workpiece, adding quantity of diamond micro powder etc. Finally steel balls millstone covering with Ni-Fe-diamond composite electro-brush plating film is produced successfully.Secondly, the steel balls millstone is used to grind steel ball in ones steel ball factory, and process flocculus the steel balls that possess reticulate veins surface. Measure the result as follows: Ra(Surface roughness of steel ball)=0.015 u m, wavmess=0.06 um, â–³Sph(deviation from spherical form)=0.010 u m, VDWL(variation of ball lot diameter)=0.015 u m. The flocculus steel balls measured were assembled in Luoyang Precise Bearings Company. The results show that the bearing vibration values reached Z2 group near 98%, the bearing vibration values with new technique balls tower above sixty percentile than grindtechnics. Furthermore the bearing vibration values reached Z3 group near 83-97%, the bearing vibration values with new technique balls tower above 77-90% than grind technics. The bearing vibration values decline 5-7dB, the technique approach or achieve international advanced level. |
