Study Of Fault Diagnosis System For Substation

The method of using expert system and fuzzy theory in fault diagnosis for substation is brought out in this paper by comparing power system fault diagnosis methods and principles in our country and foreign countries. We study mainly the expert system whose knowledge base has many features and advantages and bring out the method of dealing with the uncertaingtity by fuzzy theory.The substation fault diagnosis system runs on-line and in real time,which diagnoses the fault by the information of switch and breaker coming from SCADA.It also can tell the operator how to deal with the fault.Fault diagnosis is mainly depend on the information of the breaker.Because there is a corresponding between breaker and its protected area,we decide where is fault by making the intersection of protected areas of all the acting breakers.The fault diagnosis system is made of the topology analysis module and fault diagnosis and instruction module.The two parts are comparatively independent.Zhou Zhixia (power system and its automatization)Directed by prof.Huang Shaofeng...
