Research And Simulation On Multi-ship Intelligent Collision Avoidance Expert System

Ship collision seize on a big proportion of the accident at sea, which does great damage to safe navigation. With the development of shipping, and the increasing requirement of ocean resource, many ship collision happened each year. Lots of lives disappeared, enormous goods were lost, and the ocean entironment was polluted. How to avoid ship collision is an important tache to ensure the navigation, and it also abstract the eyes all over the sailing-world. When we search the reason of collision, we will find most of the accidents were caused by the voyager's carelessness , ignorance and those operations violating the International Regulation for Preventing Collision at Sea. For this reason, to decrease the human misplay is the key to reduce collision and enhance the safety of navigation. At present, countries in the world are looking for an effective way to prevent collision.In this paper, Multi-ship Collision Avoidance Simulation System is chiefly researched. In the process of the system study, the knowledge in the domain of ship collision avoidance is analyzed. And then, using the Analytic Hierarchy Process ( Abbreviated: AHP ) method, the Multi-ship Collision Avoidance Decision-making is accomplished. And, according to collision risk the opportune moment, the project for collision avoidance action and the extent of veer are achieved. In addition, based on the expert system theory, and the ship intelligent collision avoidance expert system, the frame of Multi-ship Collision Avoidance Expert Simulation System is built. Finally, at the foundation Visual Basic 6.0 combined with Matlab 6.0, a software of Multi-ship Collision Avoidance Expert Simulation System is designed.
