Exploitation And Engineering Application Of Torsional Vibration Program For Modern Ship

This paper is based cm the torque vibration analysis of three fishing vessels of Russia. These three fishing vessels are replaced marine engines in Dalian Liaoyu Repairing Shipyard. In this item, it is very important for studying thu torsional vibrat ion of the shafting of main propulsion system, because i t directly relate to the safety, reliability and life of shafting of Ocean-going Catcher Ship.In this paper, the investigation of tosional vibration of shafting in China is compared with the advanced level of other countries. Some basic theory and computing methods are discussed in many chapters. Using Visual C++ makes a program, which is fit for some kinds of shafting of internal-combustion engines. This program can calculate free vibration and force vibration of shafting. As an example, " " fishing ship is chosen. Using the program, we finish the calculation of free and force vibrations of the shafting of " " fishing ship. The result is compared with that provided by Russian University of Leningrad.
