The basic theory about realizing on-line monitoring boiler efficiency is discussed. Its method is put into practice by using advanced programming language Delphi, which can calculate the boiler efficiency for any operational condition. The ideal operational value of waste-gas temperature is provided through combining the boiler's practical operation and the research of heat loss due to exhaust gas, which offers important theory and paves a solid way in optimizing boiler operation. When using zero dimension theory and system engineering theory, the ideal function of carbon loss is put forwarded, which is the basis of economical analysis and energy conservation analysis. In the last part of the thesis, boiler thermal performance test is used for ameliorating certain parameters in some formulas.
