To assure each component act credibly, run safely and exert the power required and task characteristics stated after assembling of locomotive prepared to leave factory or having been repaired, it is necessary to carry through the water-resistant examination. It looks upon water resistant as load, simulate every instance of locomotive running and check its every parameter automatically, then collect and dispose these data of parameters, calculate the power of simulating running of locomotive, which is based on the current, and voltage of host dynamotor. Afterward, it can be judged from the working state of locomotive. Through experiment and adjust each parameter, it can provide important warrant to the components of locomotive whether they can work normally and credibly.Based on investigation on the spot and data analysis, this paper put forward the design scheme of water-resistant experiment after lots of analysis and discuss. The detail steps we carried out are as follows.The first step is hardware design. It includes design of data collection circuit of RS-232C and RS-485. The second step is software design. It includes programming of the measurement of rotate speed, voltage and current, displaying, printing and the communication programming between PC and SCM. As the last step assembled the system, and we to the integrated system performed the experiment.Trough the analysis of the data, enough evidences have shown that the performance of our detection system is perfect and intelligent. And on the spot, it can totally take the place of the traditional system.Mere over, our detection system cannot only be used for current demand, but be optimized for the future use; it has extensive application value and promotion value. To some extent, it can predict the development tendency of the locomotive water-resistant experiment system.
