On Structural Characteristics Of A Container Ship And Her Construction Principles

This dissertation intends to approach the subject of themechanical features of the structural characteristics of a container ship. In view of these characteristics of a container ship and some technological issues arising therefrom,the dissertation then carries out an in-deep research into the construction principles of a container ship. The dissertation takes a 4700 DWT container ship for an example and is directed against the middle and small-sized shipyards. Starting from the construction principles and centering on the division of blocks,blockfabrication and erection on shipway,the dissertation analyses themanufacturing gist of some typical parts/blocks,hatchcover and superstructure blocks. The dissertation also carries out a research into the application of precision shipbuilding to a container ship.
