The vibration of unit of Hongshi hydropower station causes violent vibration of the plant and the dam, which has not been occurred interiorly before. And such serious vibration has not been found according to foreign literature. With such serious vibrating for long time, the pillar , the door and the window of the plant appears horizontal and sorrounding crack, the safety of the hydropower station has been threatened. By the data observed on-site, it indicate that the reinforcing plan which the plant to disembark and the dam to be connected has solved the problem that the plant to disembark occurs resonance vibration with the frequency of the turbogenerator units, but the problem of resonance vibration of the downriver structure of the plant has not been solved, hence the study of the reinforce structure of the downriver plant must be made.In the reinforce engineering, it must be took into account such as the construction feasibility, economy, equipment placement and so on, the design space is limit. It is very difficult to solve the problem to make several frequency stagger the frequency of the main vibration sources with the experience analysis method. In this paper, many main functions such as mode analysis, optimum design, substructure analysis are combined in reason to meet precision, save EMS memory, improve efficiency. Begin for the problem that some parameters can not be simulated exactly before, according to the data observed on-site, the dynamic elastic modulus and the elastic modulus of the spar of the rooftop has been reckoned in reverse with the function of ANSYS optimum . design. Based on that the model is built in reason, many optimum model are built, the possibility that the second frequency staggers the vibration sources when the first frequency has staggered the vibration sources with many object optimum design method, the results under the most possibility are made. The acuity curves of every structure parameter to frequency. Finally, a feasible, economic, available plan is, found, the problem that resonance vibration of the downriver structure of the plant has commendably been solved.The computation and the theoretical analysis in this paper are both integrated with actual project which is running or being built, which has good practical applying value and good value to constructing and running other hydropower stations.
