Design And Development Of Measurement And Control System For Comprehensive Performance Test Platform Of Hydraulic Cylinder

Hydraulic cylinder is the common mechanical basis components and parts, which plays an indispensable role in the process of equipment manufacturing. With the development of hydraulic industry and manufacturing industry, more and more requirements have been paid to the hydraulic cylinders’performance. Hydraulic cylinder test platform as the main equipment to test the integrated performance of the hydraulic cylinder, its automation and intelligent level has a great influence on the performance testing of the hydraulic cylinder. In order to meet the needs of the hydraulic cylinders’test, the measurement and control system of the hydraulic cylinder test platform is designed and developed.Firstly, according to the operation process and the control demands of the hydraulic cylinder testing, a general scheme of the measurement and control system for the test bench is proposed. Secondly, according to the demands of the test pressure control precision, a parameterized PID control method for the pressure control system is proposed, and the PID parameter values of the system are determined by combining Matlab/Simulink simulation and on-site debugging. In addition, the feasibility of the fault detection for hydraulic cylinder based on wavelet anslysis is studied, in order to find the leakage fault of hydraulic cylinder. Thirdly, the hardware and software design of the electrical control system of the hydraulic cylinder test bench and the host computer monitoring and management platform are finished based on PLC and Lab VIEW. Finally, the main functions of the hydraulic cylinder test bench measurement and control system are debugged in the field. The on-site commissioning results show that the design of the measurement and control system of the hydraulic cylinder test bench is reasonable.The measurement and control system of the hydraulic cylinder test bench has been applied on the research and production in the cooperation enterprise. The system realizes the expected goals and improves the automation level of hydraulic cylinder performance test, which has some reference values for design and practical engineering application of common hydraulic components test platform as well as its measurement and control system.
