With rapid development of aviation industry, it has been getting busy in airport, the number of vehicles in parking apron has been also increasing rapidly, and vehicle accidents occur more and more frequently even in some busy airports, the issue of scheduling vehicles in parking apron safely has been paid more and more attention. The vehicle operation in airport has many characteristics such as crowded work space, lack of work time, being easily affected by heavy weather and airplane, low efficiency of information transmission etc.As for these problems of airport vehicle operation, a vehicle intelligent terminal basing on STM32 microprocessor has been designed, which has many functions such as battery monitoring, vehicle real-time positioning, wireless communications, man-machine interaction. In this paper hardware and software design project of vehicle intelligent terminal and some improved methods under condition of airport have been elaborated through modular design ideas. In the hardware circuit design, STM32F407ZET6 chip is selected as core processor, battery monitoring function is realized by DS2438 chip, vehicle real-time positioning function is realized by GPS technology, wireless communication function is realized by WIFI communication technology, besides a backup communication module basing on GPRS technology is added to enhance the stability of communication function, man-machine interaction module which includes LCD touch display screen, buttons and LED indicator can strengthen communication between driver and vehicle terminal. In the software programming design, the embedded system development and debugging is realized by establishing MDK5 project, and uCOSII kernel system is transplanted in STM32 processor in order to implement program run, hardware driving is realized by STM32 firmware library, besides multi-task application layer is designed according to the functional requirements of the vehicle terminal.Finally, the vehicle terminal system debugging shows that the feasibility of terminal equipment has been verified, and it can used widely, additionally the whole paper has been summarized and predicted.
