| All along, the "Pavilion" as an independent building type is present in the architecture world, but it has always been a marginal thing and it do not get academic approves. In recent years, with the increase of art exhibitions and cultural events, people have more opportunity to see the “Pavilion†design and construction. Also it took more and more attention by architecture and designer. Based on this phenomenon, this paper focus on “Pavilionâ€. This essay collect literature, field surveys, case studies, summarized research methods. From both theoretical and practical aspects, and it explores experimental design of contemporary pavilions. In the first three chapters, this paper defined the concept, history and characteristics of pavilion. Then I summed up the evolution of the type of pavilion design, which from concept, shape, construction of three aspects. In the fourth chapter, the paper researched temporary pavilion. The theme is experimental design and construction. This paper tested the concept established, form generation, the construction process and the results of the expression. Through a series of theoretical research and practical exploration, I hope that this paper can be theoretical research on the design of pavilions have anything to add, bring some valuable references for the Practice. |
