In recent years, with the rapid development of automotive and aerospace technology, spiral bevel gears are widely used because of its compact structure and high transmission efficiency.However it is in the process of transmission if the stress concentration caused by tooth surface pitting or contact stress caused by too much damage to the gear fatigue will shorten the design life of the gear. Therefore, the contact stress of gear has a great influence on the gear transmission. It is very important to study the dynamic and static contact stress of involute helical gear to improve the life and contact strength of gears. In this paper, a new type of gear used in automobile rear axle main reducer is proposed, which not only can adapt to the high speed torque, but also can effectively reduce the loss in the transmission process. And through the finite element analysis method, the main use of the Hypermesh and ANSYS software, this new type of gear analysis of single tooth analysis and dynamic analysis, to verify the safety and feasibility of the. And based on new algorithm Enler-Rodrigues formula research, through equation transformation, reduce the equations used in the calculation of dimension, by meshing equation for initial selection formula makes the initial value of the solution there are rules to follow, and effectively improve the work efficiency.Tooth contact analysis is in gear engagement theory as the foundation, through the surface mesh model is established on the computer, simulation of the gear pair meshing process, contact the relevant regional data, and analysis them under the different installing forms of tooth surface contact area, and then complete the revision on contact area than the right. HyperMesh as an efficient pre-processing software, and ANSYS, has good versatility, so we choose it for single tooth model of simplification, mesh, material properties, element properties, contact property real constant and. In the single gear tooth analysis, we the real constant FKN and material friction coefficient changes,through the analysis of the stress nephogram, find stress concentration area and the most prone to fracture area, and through the adjustment of different parameters, to simulate different actual situation and scene, multi aspect and verify the rationality of the gear, and after the dynamic analysis completes the basic. And in the dynamic analysis of the main and the running environment of reality was simulated, to adjust to different meshing angle by of different meshing position should stress nephogram analysis, to further improve and perfect gear.
