| This present study derives from the planning and design projects of New-energy Vehicles Smart Town and Forest Spa Town in Ninghai County,Zhejiang Province. The author of this thesis undertakes some part of research. The planning and design projects of these special towns involve several regions, different industries, and various resource types. The author has realized that the newly launched planning and construction of these special towns in Zhejiang province are facing the difficulty of lacking theoretical supports, which in return highlights the importance of exploiting,shaping, and constructing the characters of these towns. Based on Band Theory in marketing study, this thesis exploits the shaping mechanism of these special towns, and constructs the framework of their characteristics as well. Through empirical study of special towns, this thesis is trying to analyze the formation, interaction, and result of four functional characteristics in terms of industry, culture, tourism and service respectively, exploring the action logic behind planning and practical construction of special towns, constructing a linkage mechanism for three-dimensional special town space with several elements such as industry, society, culture and technology etc., and to provide reference and experience for the construction of other special towns in the future.Considering the infrequent study of special town construction domestically,this thesis focuses on valuable exploration of this field. Studying thesystematical framework of special towns and taking band effect as the guideline, the planning and design have provided new perspective and method for the study of special town construction, which makes great contribution to exploring the future construction and development of special town. Adopting various study methods such as data & reference study, contrastive study, qualitative & quantitative study, practical &demonstrative analysis, interdisciplinary analysis etc., the result of this present study, acting as a persuasive practical reference, provides timely blueprint for national special town construction. |
