With the rapid development of computer aided design technology and in-depthapplications, the informatization of manufacturing enterprises has changed from twodimensions to 3D era. Aerospace enterprises are gradually promote the digital design andmanufacture mode, with product manufacturing information model has become the design,process and stage of production standards, process and production of model browsing demandis very urgent. In the process of digital manufacturing using Pro/E to browse the original modelwith product manufacturing information, browse the original model is still in edit mode, easy tochange the original design model due to misoperation,3D modeling software and on-siteterminal installation requirements for higher computer hardware. At the same time, more andmore complex structure of satellite products,3D model is more and more big, the ordinarycomputer cannot open model. The big model and the MBD model display, browse and use moreand more difficult. Therefore, the need for lightweight on the model, realize the accurateexpression of the model of rapid display, browse and use convenient and lightweight PMI MBDmodel in complete information process. Light weight in view of the above problems, this paperstudies the complex assembly model and product manufacturing information conversiontechnology, the main work includes the following aspects:The lightweight model conversion, first analysis, summary, summarizes the modelinformation: geometry information, non geometric information; assembly model information:assembly structure information, coordination relationship information. In accordance with theconversion requirements, define the composition information of lightweight assembly model,assembly model for complex loading, fast display technology research foundation.In view of the complex assembly model cannot be opened in a computer, it is difficult toachieve fast browsing and display, put forward three level model of lightweight methods. Thefirst part model triangulation, make it into a mesh model. Secondly, the lightweight structure ofassembly model, assembly and parts data describing, delete the geometry data of the assemblydata within several records. The display layer control model of loading sequence through, so asto complete the complex assembly model smooth browsing and display.In view of the problem the light conversion process annotation lost and associatedannotation, put forward the layer product manufacturing information conversion mechanism.Firstly, the expression of PMI in Pro/E model and form of PMI, and then use the lightweightsoftware test, summed up the conversion process of PMI error phenomenon, finally throughannotation substitution, developed a 3D annotation rules and transformation mechanism.Finally this article uses the Sview lightweight software of Shan Da Hua Tian, from a singlefeature(label), combination of features(label), part model(label), assembly models four partsfor model validation, test the accuracy of the theory.
