Study On The Space And Decorative Decoration Of Anshun Tunpu Street

This paper focuses on the structure form and characteristic decorations of the street and alley spaces of Tunpu. Through investigating and analyzing the existing villages in Tunpu, this paper reveals that the origin of Tunpu culture is the combination of defensive military battlefield and spatial structure, and things from the villages to the specific defense stands are all embodiments of Tunpu culture. These distinctive spatial structures are presented through specific dots, lines and surfaces as well as spatial form. However, these distinctive structural forms have become the most characteristic decorative elements in Tunpu.The focus of the paper is the spatial structure of the streets and alleys in Tunpu and the concrete manifestation of decorative elements. In order to achieve the research objective, three aspects need to be tackled. First, with the continuous development of society, the contradictions between the cultural heritage and the requirement of modern life are increasingly intensified, thus whether conflicts can be resolved is a challenge faced by Tunpu in its path of development. Second, the question that in what aspects the essence of Tunpu distinctive culture is mainly reflected is also a key issue in the future development of Tunpu culture. Third, whether the spatial structure of the streets and alleys in Tunpu can shownew vitality in the new historical period to guarantee that the charm of Tunpu culture does not fade. These three questions can be answered only through studying the spatial structureof the streets and alleys in Tunpu as well as its decoration.The characteristic of the spatial structure of the streets and alleys in Tunpu is the organic combination of military history and spatial feature, and the decorative characteristic of Tunpu is the combination of military style and spiritual style. Therefore, the essential attribute of Tunpu culture lies in its military. With the evolution of history, the reflection of military elements on its space and decoration has gradually become the representation and symbol of Tunpu culture.The spatial characteristics of the streets and alleys in Tunpu are mainly reflected in the following aspects: first, in terms of the overall plan, the streets and alleys in Tunpu are imbued with strong color ofmilitary defense, and its overall plan and layout of the villages are based on its military history. Second, in terms of the scale of the streets and alleys, the strategic goals of defense are integrated into these streets and alleys, which in turn become beneficial defensive system. Third, in terms of the design of the namespace nodes, namespace nodes are formed through proper plan and layout for the purpose of defense and the needs of cultural belief. The spatial characteristics of the streets and alleys in Tunpu become clearer through the detailed analysis of its spatial structure.The decoration of the streets and alleys in Tunpu has much to do with military defense, and the contents and forms of the decoration are mainly embodied in various interfaces of street and alley space. Various interfaces of street and alley space are formed in accordance with functional requirements.The street and alley spaces as well as decorative elements influenced by the defensive military history of Tunpu are considered as core contents of Tunpu cultural system. These are also the direct reflections of Tunpu culture, and these street and alley spaces as well as decorative elements are not only the creation based on the existing environment but also inheritance of Tunpu culture. Only by finding out the essential attributes of Tunpu, can Tunpu find its cultural roots which are beneficial for its innovation and future development, and inject new momentum into the study of Tunpu culture.
