PENTAWARDS is an international competition agency focused on packaging design. The contest from the quality of innovation, brand influence and production process, through international jury, pick winners. PENTAWARDS combined with mass media, packaging design in the field of experts and designers and consumers the purpose of the contest, to understand the importance of the quality and creativity of the packaging, and in-depth study, so as to promote better development of the packaging design industry.The research object of this thesis is the main content of PENTAWARDS contest itself and the winning entries, and it is sorted out and studied by using the research methods such as list, analysis and induction.. Summarize four main features and make a statement of it. Such as the main analysis PENTAWARDS established background, describes the orientation and concept of PENTAWARDS, and of similar design competition were compared, analysis of the reasons for its success; induction and analysis of a PENTAWARDS award-winning feature, inductive current packaging design the main trend and style, explore the reasons for the formation of these trends; present to PENTAWARDS prize winning works trend analysis, understand the development direction in graphics, materials, shape and semantic; finally explained the PENTAWARDS brought about by the social impact, and make a conclusion.
