Study On The Methods And Risk Classification Of Hidden Trouble In Construction

The safety of construction production is very important for economic development and social stability. Construction hazards is the cause of production safety accidents. If the hazards can not been investigated and eliminated, the accidents will happen frequently.The accident will cause personal injury or property damage, and stunte the economic and social development. So, the research, for method of hazards investigation and risk classification, is very important to controlling and eliminating safety hazards, and preventing the occurrence of accidents.The first, the safety hazards has been analyzed, including hazards concept, definition,main contents, characteristic. The building construction safety hazards mainly are unsafe behavior of human and unsafe condition of material. The characteristic of hazards is including hidden, dangerous, contingency, causality, timeliness. The problem of the construction hazards investigation is management seriously enough, safety management system is not perfect and so on. The hazards investigation method of commonly used and in laws and regulations has been analyzed.This article elaborated the theory of risk and discussed the method of classification of risk in the construction field. We also analyzed the basic approach of risk evaluation,typical way of risk classification and the characteristic of it. In addition, the susceptibility and possibility of accident, the difference between seriousness of consequence and seriousness of hidden danger were also involved in our study. Based on the theory of accident causation chain, the hidden trouble was defined as the Two-Stage Model which conclude the stage of formation and development. We confirmed the Two-stage Model of hidden danger which concluded six basic indexes named the susceptibility, possibility and harmfulness of hidden danger, the possibility, seriousness and effect of accident. What’s more, this article also researched the value range and reference of six basic indexes above.It also made the standard and principle of risk classification clear.This Article studied the content, thinking, procedure and process of trouble screening in the construction field. Before the screening, We should clarify the guidelines and principles. The screening procedure concluded the guiding policy, organizations,communication, staff training, law related and infrastructures etc. The screening process concluded the pre-planning, troubleshooting, risk classification of hidden trouble,rectification of dangers, recheck and improve etc.Finally, this article conducted the practical application of screening and classifying of hidden trouble, we also analyzed the effect based on the program of ZHANXIHUANYUAN as the instance taking the method of screening and classifying which we mentioned. All of these provided a strong foundation for improving and applying the method of screening and classifying in the construction industry.
