| As the technology of LED is becoming mature, the application of LED is become more and more in outdoor lamps, because it saves energy and it can be freely combined. Naturally, more and more traditional outdoor lights will be replaced. The market demand of LED outdoor lights will become larger. On the other hand, because of Changes of the environment, in which outdoor lights are used, and the different aesthetic needs of different people, we need different outdoor lights to meet diverse needs. In face of the diverse demand of outdoor lamps and huge business opportunities that appeared on the market, enterprises also face pressure. Because enterprises should save the cost of production with the mass production, and provide a variety of outdoor lamps, it is difficult for the enterprise.In this article,the theory of modular design is introduced into the design of LED outdoor lamps and lanterns by researching the method of modular design. After the article analyzes the characteristics of LED and the separability of the light on structure, on the base of the theory of the module partition and module combination, the LED outdoor lamps and lanterns are divided into separate modules. Then the paper explores the way of combination between different module of the lamp, such as the combination of the different modules in the lamp holder, the combination of the lamp holder and the lamp arm, the combination of the lamp holder and the lamp pole and the combination of the lamp and the decorative modules. Different lamps can be obtained by combining various modules. It can save the problem between the diversification, the production cycle and the cost of production. Finally, the paper analyzes the specific and practical cases and design a series of LED outdoor lights, to verify the important role in the design of LED outdoor lights on the base of the theory of modular design and explain how to increase the variety of lamps and lanterns by the way which we can get a variety of forms by a small amount of change. |
