At present, people placing and recycling of the cones manually when people maintain roads in China, this kind of manual is not only low in operating efficiency, the safety factor is low. Based on the exploitation of automatic retractable truck of traffic cones, retractation-jack mechanism play an important role in the automatic retractable truck, is mainly responsible for placing and recycling of the cones. Retractation-jack will produce different strain and vibration when automatic retractable truck driving on different road and work under various conditions, it will directly affect the retractation-jack safety, service life and structure reliability. This paper focuses on the retractation-jack mechanism, In order to achieve the function of placing and recycling cones and the structure is reasonable, this paper studied mainly from two aspects of structure design and dynamic characteristics.According to the general requirements of the automatic retractable truck of cones, the overall scheme of the retractation-jack mechanism is given, the entity model of retractation-jack mechanism is established with Solidworks software, which makes a preparation for dynamic characteristics.According to the related theory of finite element, the finite element model of retractation-jack mechanism is established with ABAQUS software, and got its natural frequency and mode of vibration after modal analysis. Consider the impact of engine and road axcitation, according to the results of the analysis, proposed the improvement program to improve the structure and enhance its natural frequency to avoid the occurrence of resonance exitation.Harmonic response analysis is carried out based on the modal analysis considering separately the vertical and horizontal excitation of two engine operating conditions, to study the response under the engine harmonic excitation of the structure of retractation-jack.According to the theory of random vibration, the method that the surface displacement power spectrum of different roads was loaded in the bottom of the suspension of wheels in finite element. Through the random vibration analysis, got the structural speed and acceleration response of the truck on A-grade and C-grade road surface.
