| Turbidity is one of the indicators of water quality, the measurement of turbidity about chemical water in thermal power plants is directly related with the economy and security of generator unit. Traditionally the measurement of turbidity about chemical water is mixed-optical transmission method, which take the photovoltaic or photoconductive devices as light sensors, and obtain the value of water turbidity by measuring the transmitted light intensity. However, with the advances in technology and the continuous improvement about unit parameters, this method gradually reveal the low measurement threshold, low resolution, low reliability of turbidity value and low effectiveness. In response to this technical problem, this paper made a scattering measurement program which take linear CCD as the photosensitive element, and the low limit of chemical water turbidity measurements has been expanded, the reliability and validity has been enhanced. And the experiments show that this method is correct in principle and is technically feasible. |
