Suspension ammunition is a new raised concept of "passive" low-altitude defensive weapons to protect important military fortifications and ships. Suspension ammunition can achieve their short-term suspensionto destroy the incoming targets. Research rotor aerodynamic characteristics and structural characteristics is important to improve the ability of suspension, and deformable rotor must be used to change the rotor diameter because of cluster bombs space limitations. This paper focuses on the research of aerodynamic characteristics of Suspension ammunition rotor and Program Design of variable diameter rotors folded structure, the main work is as follows:The establishment of a rotor flow field CFD simulation model. Hover flow field simulation of EP-1060R × 3 rotor used in suspension ammunition ground experiments, combined with experimental data and theoretical calculation means for calculating the results to prove the rotor flow CFD simulation model in this article is credible.Study the structural parameters influence of rotor to its aerodynamic characteristics. Using CFD calculation method and changing the rotor structure parameters to study structure parameters influence to its aerodynamic characteristics, determine the optimum parameters of the rotor structure.Program Design of variable diameter rotors folded structure and establish its virtual prototype, analyze its kinematics and dynamics of the deployment process. According to the working principle and structure characteristics of the suspended ammunition, designed folding structure program of the rotor. from the structural characteristics of the folding of view, compare the advantages and disadvantages of each program to determine a better wing folding programs; using ADAMS software to establish a virtual prototype of the folding rotor to analyze its kinematics and dynamics of the deployment process.Because of the difference of working environment and folding rotor initial state, a preliminary study parameters and environmental factors for the rotor aerodynamic performance of ammunition, including the whereabouts of spin speed, crosswind, altitude, etc.Through the research on the aerodynamic characteristics and structural characteristics of the rotor, determine a better rotor structure parameters and folding programs, reducing the space occupied by the rotor, to lay the foundation for an independent air test.
