Study On The Decorative Patterns Of Lijia Courtyard In Yanjing Village, Shanxi Province

Architectural ornament is the materialization of the traditional culture concept andnational psychology, and it reflects the shining light of Chinese traditional buildings’constructed concept, values, morality and ethics, aesthetic taste and the ideas of customs,shapes the national culture psychology and the model of aesthetic style meanwhile. Thedecoration of a building is able to reflect the building owner’s economic level and aesthetictemperament and interest is able to reflect the building owner economic level and aesthetictaste, also intensively reflects the social and cultural development state of that time. Throughanalyzing the decorative feature of a building, we can perceived the social and culturaldevelopment context with a clearer view, to draw lessons from it and extract somethingbeneficial to the traditional culture genes of our present ethnic culture development, and italso much more helpful to the innovative ways and creative technique of our rich nationalaesthetic.This article was taking grand courtyard of Li from Yan Jing village, Wanrong country,Yuncheng, Shanxi as the research sample, based on in-depth fieldwork and dissected itsdistinctive architectural decoration patterns. And by using of field investigation, literaturereference, and the methods of comparative study, deconstructed the aesthetic language of Li’sgrand courtyard building decoration pattern, and summed up the major means of architecturaldecoration’ s pattern characteristics of Li’s grand courtyard, contained brick carvings, stonecarvings, wood carvings and so on. Take the historical background as cords, parsing theunique decoration style of Li’s grand courtyard and the reason of its aesthetic phenomenonformation, explored and analyzed aesthetic context of that age, enrich the first-handinformation of this rich Chinese and western style buildings decoration pattern. In view of thebuilding’s multiple value to study history, culture, art and so on, this study’s move onprovided a positive reference for the better protection and research these buildingcommunities in the future.At the same time, based on the social demand of this booming tourism market, andrelatively extensive local tourism products and primary market pattern, on the basis ofsufficient reference to the aesthetic language features of its architectural decoration pattern,combined with their own professional background, exploratory propose the design ideas anddesign scheme of local distinctive tourism products, in order to provide a reference samplefor promote local tourism cultural development and flourish local special tourism productmarket.
