With the increasing of car’s type and quantity in our country, the traffic safety problems also become increasingly prominent. Due to the occurrence of the vehicle fault and traffic accidents are uncertain on the time and place, and fail to seek help leading a delayed rescue, often bringing unnecessary trouble to the parties and even a serious threat to their life and property safety. The aid of traffic accident usually involves vehicle maintenance units, medical units, traffic police and fire agent and so on, how to make an better arrangement of these institutions to coordinate work is an problem which must be focused on to improve the rescue efficiency and reasonable use of rescue resources.This paper which is aimed at how to improve the efficiency of vehicles’rescue is putting forward, consider to general control the rescue efforts which include vehicle maintenance units, medical units, traffic police and fire agent and so on by a rescue center, and study a information interaction platform of vehicle rescue which is composed of an on-board embedded system and PC terminal (rescue center) in two parts.The on-board embedded system apply the embedded technology of ARM9, use the GPS technology for vehicle’s longitude and latitude information, use three-axis accelerometer and three-axis gyroscope to obtain the vehicle pitch angle and roll angle by kalman filter data fusion algorithm and use Qt applications and touch screen to provide man-machine interface.PC terminal apply the Qt application of PC’s, use the API of baidu map to provide the show of maps and use OpenGL graphics library to provide the3D model of vehicle which is to show the posture of the car. Using the technology of GSM and GPRS, realizes the remote wireless voice and information communication which are between on-board embedded system and PC terminal.Based on the research and test of the system’s main function, implement the information interaction capabilities which are between the on-board embedded system and the PC terminal. The on-board embedded system can call for help using voice and have a choice to send vehicle fault information, traffic accidents information and injuries information by artificial way, also can automaticly ask for help in a serious traffic accident and driving personnel under the condition of unconsciousness. In the method of artificial way to ask for help, sending the default information of the license plate number, vehicle longitude and latitude and the vehicle pitch angle、roll angle.In the automatic mode to ask for help, will first send the vehicle information of license plate number, latitude and longitude, positive acceleration and pitch angle、 roll angle, and then directly build voice connection to the PC terminal. After the PC terminal receives the information for help, will directly show the vehicle’s specific location in the map、vehicle license plate number the3D model of the car which include the information of pitch angle、roll angle and specific information for help, and can send feedback information to the on-board embedded systems according to the rescue center operators’ operating.
