The Primary Study On The Expression Of Steel-constructed About Form And Style Of Small Scaled Buildings

Being used as build material,steel has a history of 200 years. And steel has all been used as structural material,but now more and more steel is used as decorative elements and envelope components. Steel now can be used in larger fields and the studies on it can be found everywhere. This paper choose the small scaled building as the main study object. In this paper the small scaled building is not small size or small body but the feelings of the people on the building. At home and abroad,the study is mainly on the steel structures,from the area of architectural design,the study is fewer. This paper avoids the empty description words from the performance of those buildings,it put more focus on the thchnique of how to make the form and expression. This is the papers'main points.This paper separate the steel-constructed building from the body and the surroundings they stay. From the performance of the body,it can be separate into components and connections. The components can be divided into support members, exterior components and decorative components. The surroundings they stay can be divided into three area: local cultural environment,natural garden environment,a comprehensive metropolitan environment. For both the classification of articles in each type,this paper summarized their design techniques,in order to do some help for others.
