In the situation of the world energy circumstances becomes increasingly tense,the electronic energy-saving lamp, as a new energy-saving light source, has been widely utilized . There is still a considerable gap between abroad and domestic key technology , compared the country's technological level with foreign company. In the domestic market, the electronic ballast circuit patterns that are similar, except the fluorescent tubes of lamps are different from each other, mainly employs the mature self-excited-type series resonant circuit. In the process of the large-scale mass production and fault products maintenance, the domestic detection technology remains in the manual inspection stage, with low efficiency. And the way of maintenance is not suited to mass production and product analysis. It is important to ensure the quality of the electronic ballast products, to enhance the ability to judge the failure,and to improve production efficiency. Enterprises propose to develop online detection equipment for electronic ballast, to achieve ballast products testing and fault diagnosis.In this paper, electronic ballast circuit tester is researched and designed for the rapid repair of electronic ballasts. It takes the online testing technology, the fault diagnosis technology and the expert system technology into practice, for the electronic ballast products detection and the failures goods analysis.First of all , the paper builds a mathematical model as the base of the operating parameters ,which is measured the form fluorescent lamps of the YPZ220V/13W3URLD type electronic energy-saving lamp. Aslo it designs a Pspice simulation model of the fluorescent lamp by using PSpice ABM component library, then tests the parameters of this model. Based on the model, the paper establishs the electronic ballast circuit model of this energy-saving lamp, and analyze and tests this circuit,study the main modules and critical components of the electronic ballast circuit by simulate the circuit model, analyze the conventional fault and cause of the malfunction of the circuit, and then introduces the method to establish fault dictionary of the key node voltage in fault conditions of the circuit parameters, and give some examples of the fault dictionary.Second, the paper designs the electronic ballast circuit test and detection system as the based of the analog circuit fault dictionary technology, by using the ideas of modular design, then develop the hardware circuit and the software process of the lower position system which is designed to collect voltage data form the node of electric ballast circuit in detail. Then the paper describes the main module functions and the realization of methods, and analyze results of these function modules. The software control platform of the host computer system is designed by using LabVIEW software. This design achieves the serial communications between lower hardware systems and host computer system, completes real-time monitoring detects to the results, data storage, statistical analysis functions, then the electronic ballast detection system is debuged and analyzed finally.
