Designs And Implementation Of Open AT Based Vehicle Locating Terminal

Vehicles locating system is supported by Global Positioning system, GSM/GPRS wireless communication system, Global geographical information system and the technical of computer network. It is not only the essential part of intelligent transportation system, but also providing grand against theft, grand against hijack and alarm.Vehicle locating terminal based Open AT mainly construct by high position accuracy and high sensitivity GPS module and wireless CPU module. It can provide real-time monitor, against theft, against hijack and against overspeed by mobile phone text or GPRS. It can make the automobiles in safety, enhance the management, improve the use efficiency and reduce the cost of transport. This paper describes GPS and GPRS, introduces Open AT operation system for developing the built-in software on wireless CPU and common AT instruction, states in detail of the whole system design, the hardware design and the software design of the Vehicle locating terminal based Open AT.
